May 2019 Peterborough and Kawartha’s Real Estate Numbers are in!

Residential Listings

We are right in line with 2018 for number of listings in the PKAR (Peterborough and Kawartha Association of Realtors) area. In May of 2018 we seen 464 listings. In May 2019 we seen 468. A difference of 4 listings so we will call it even. Th bigger gap really was in March but the numbers caught up in April.

Average Sale Price

So far in 2019 average sales price has been over and above 2018. In May prices seem to stabilize and even out. That overall helps the market.

Residential Sales

Along with number of listings, sales where almost to the number equal in 2019 as they were in 2018, 269 sales in 2018 with 267 sales in 2019
