Douro’s own, Cody “The Crippler” Crowley has just dominated  another fight night in Peterborough on Saturday night! This win moves Crowley’s record to 18-0.

Crowley is currently and still the Canadian Super Welterweight Champion. An amazing accomplishment.

Crowley’s own Promotion, CCC Promotions brought another stacked card to the Peterborough Memorial Centre called ‘Homecoming V: Going Global.’ Even more cool, the event was broadcasted on the UFC Fight Pass website. The event was as professional as you can get.

My friend and I took in the fights from the stadium seating. We had amazing sight-lines and truly enjoyed the event.

Hockey Weekend in Ennismore, Douro, Lakefield and Lindsay

Well the kids are back at it! Hockey is in full swing. My family including myself were on the ice 9 times this weekend with games and practices. I am using hockey as a life lesson for my children. They are putting in the work in practices and the driveway and it is paying off with the successes they are seeing in the game!

We also had a chance to have my youngest daughter play a short game in the intermission of the Peterborough Petes game. The time was short but they had fun! Thank you to the Petes for the opportunity!
