Clear lake

Clear Lake was artificially created with the construction of the Trent Severn  waterway and stretches from closely above lock 27 to where Stony Lake meets the Trent Severn at Hells Gate. The water flows into the lake on the north end from Stoney Lake and exits on the south end flowing into Katchewanooka Lake.

Caution needs to be taken when boating especially on the north end of the lake due to underwater rocks. Boat launch located: McCracken’s Landing- 2281 McCrackens Landing Rd. Lakefield.

The surface area is approximately 1187 hectares (2931 acres) maximum depth is approximately 12.8 m (42feet) the average depth is 5.8 m (19feet)

Major fish species include small and largemouth bass, Muskie, Walleye, Yellow Perch, Bluegill, and Carp.
