Beaver Lake Kawarthas is part of the Mississagua chain of lakes. This chain of lakes also includes Mississauga Lake, Catchacoma Lake, Cavendish Lake, Gold Lake and Cold Lake. This chain of six lakes makes up a large portion of west border on the Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park
Catchacoma Cottagers’ Association has deployed 39 hazard buoys in 15 locations throughout the lake, as there are many hazards along in the Kawarthas on Beaver Lake and in the narrows.
Another fact about the lake is the maximum depth is approximately 18.2m (60 feet), and the average depth is about 6.4m (21 feet).
While a public boat launch is located at the second bridge along Beaver Lake Road found near Beaver Lake.
Major fish species include largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, lake trout and panfish in Beaver Lake Kawarthas. A nice area to explore if you are looking for a new fishing adventure. There is plenty to discover in the area and lots of local gems to explore.

Another great attraction is the Beaver Lake Trail. Located near Washago, Ontario this is a 3.1 km loop trail. For those looking for a relaxing leisurely walk this is considered an easy route with an abundance of local wildlife to add to your experience.
